Anand

15 months - 2 years

The Medhaam Anand programme is for tiny tots, who are just stepping into the world from the protective cocoon of their home. It is 5 days per week for 2 hours per day and incorporates art, gym and music with a focus on sensory and social development. The small child to teacher ratio in these classes allow for plenty of one-to-one interaction.

Our Anand classroom is designed to provide personalized warmth and care to our little learners in a healthy & stimulating environment. The environment is rich with books and blocks, plenty of self-help activities and toys that encourage discovery and awareness. Helping our toddlers gradually acquire a more social world view is an important goal of the programme. Growth and developmental milestones are shared with parents and recorded on a daily basis.

It's the perfect first school experience for our children, who get to make sense of the things and people around them, investigate the world, and engage in active social interaction. It ensures a smooth transition to the more structured and skills-driven learning expectations of the next preschool program Nirman.

Nirman

2 - 3 years

Our Nirman is 5-days-per-week for 3.5 hours per day of learning experience. Our toddler curriculum is based on the belief that children learn best through active and engaging sensory experiences. The programme promotes children’s interests and their natural quest for knowledge; leading to experiences in problem solving, inquiry, investigation, discovery and active hands-on explorations.

Our mentors in this programme focus on a toddler’s growth, self-esteem, and natural curiosity. They encourage children to develop unique skills, interests, and strengths. Medhaam helps develop a variety of skills, including physical, language, social-emotional, cognitive, self-help, and gross and fine motor. These skills are integrated through music, art, structured puzzles, movement, games, puzzles, and books.

Sahas

3 - 4 years

Our Sahas programme is a 5-days per week 3.5 hours per day programme that supports each student as he or she develops confidence in learning. Our classes are taught in a fun, caring, nurturing, positive and clean environment. The core values of Medhaam are gradually instilled during these years as children begin to appreciate them. Activities and equipment appropriate for this developmental period are made available to the children.

Our innovative Sahas curriculum builds beyond the fundamentals as teachers encourage interactive literacy and thematic learning experiences that strengthen social, intellectual learning through language, math, general awareness, skills, physical education, dance and art lessons.

The programme is designed to allow our Medhavis to learn through play while encouraging and observing individual interests. By promoting independence and developing an emerging awareness of social behavior, we help young learners expand their world beyond the home to the school community. Many opportunities are provided to increase a child’s ability to communicate by developing active listening and expressive language skills.

Vikas

4 - 5 years

Our Vikas programme, is a 5-days per week 3.5 hours per day programme where emphasis shifts from emergent strategies of the early years to purposeful acquisition and understanding of content, skills and concepts.

In Vikas, we carry forward the momentum created in Sahas and infuse more learning and experiencing activities into the daily routine of the child. Children’s developing language competencies are more visibly used as tools for communication and for learning content and concepts. With increasing maturity of their physical competencies, these children are able to take on greater challenges in physical pursuits, and engage in more sophisticated pre-writing and writing experiences.
