Our Parents as Partners

Medhaam promotes a culture of parents as partners. Parents and teachers may look at their children's learning from different perspectives, but they share a common goal making sure that children receive the best possible education. They are encouraged to question each other's thinking and nurture a positive relationship to provide children with the kind of learning that will help them thrive. They are our "Partners in Progress".

To ensure a stress free environment for children we work very closely with our parents so the transition from home to preschool/daycare and then preschool/daycare to formal school is smooth with minimum separation anxiety.

Open Door Policy: Medhaam follows a very transparent and open-ended policy to allow parents to visit and take a peep in the Preschool and Daycare at any given time.

Parent Involvement: Parents are involved in all the events during the academic year and we also conduct regular workshops for parents to enhance the learning and the growth of the little ones..

Parent Interface: We have an effective communication system through our own MOBILE APP, email, sms, facebook and instagram. Monthly planner, menu and events are shared well in advance. A daily note is sent to every parent through SMS/Diary Note to give an insight on how the child spent his/her day in the Preschool and Day Care.

Parent Interaction: Apart from daily notes, monthly academic and social/emotional assessment is sent to every parent. A quarterly Parent Teacher Interaction (PTI) is conducted at every centre giving a detailed feedback of the child’s progress. Parent feedback is also obtained on regular basis after each PTI, which is minutely studied and necessary action is taken towards improvement.
