Teach Children These Lessons on the Occasion of Janamashtami

The fortunate day that Lord Krishna was born on this planet is known as Janmashtami. In August or September, India celebrates the birth of Lord Krishna with great zeal and fervour. According to the Hindu calendar, this event is observed on Ashtami of Krishna Paksh, the eighth day of the dark fortnight. The most potent soul and one of Lord Vishnu's incarnations is thought to be Lord Krishna. He was born 5,200 years ago in Mathura.. And for this reason, Mathura is also known as Krishnabhumi.

The vast majority of Hindus in India commemorate this occasion. People called this holiday Krishna Janmashtami, Sree Jayanti, Gokilashtami, and SrikrishnaJayanti.Lord Krishna was born in order to eradicate evil from the world and disseminate the message of love and fraternity. Lord Krishna, who was Devaki and Vasudeva's eighth child, fulfilled the prophesy that he would murder Kind Kansa. But when Bal Krishna was very young, King Kansa made numerous unsuccessful attempts to murder him.

Children can learn about the significance of many festivals and India's rich cultural past by celebrating them in schools. Children also develop traits like sensitivity, creativity, and teamwork in addition to enthusiasm for the activities. Our school aspires to provide the right kind of education system that is founded on moral ethics while upholding its core values. The school also firmly believes that education will give a kid the chance to grow, flourish, and prosper while providing them with the ideal foundation from which to pursue their goal of being a responsible adult.

Let's now discuss what you should teach your child on this occasion of the festival to ensure that he leads a long and happy life.

1.      Wisdom.

Although it is stated that wisdom develops with age, we may help our children to live wisely long before they reach adulthood. Teach your children to pause and reflect like Krishna did in the Mahabharata. Half the battle is fought by teaching them self-control to take their time before making decisions. Kids may check themselves against any bad behaviour once they learn to pause and reflect. Set an example for them by taking your decisions slowly and carefully.

2.      The path of truth should be followed.

The path of truth should always be taken. Our hearts contain the truth. According to Lord Krishna, the heavenly (truth/real) and demonic (lie/unreal) aspects are at odds. When we choose the path of the unreal, our foes are our desires, rage, and greed.

We keep telling lies to cover up one untruth. Therefore, say one truth rather than a hundred lies.

3.      Be present in the moment.

According to Lord Krishna, the "Almighty" is the ultimate authority who rules over the entire globe. So, have faith in the Almighty and know that everything that occurs is for the best. Crying over the past and worrying about the future serve no purpose. So, enjoy your time right now. Take everything you have as a gift from God.

4.      Take responsibility.

Lord Krishna reaffirmed his total authority over everything in the universe and continued to exercise complete reign over it. Throughout the conflict, he presided and accepted full accountability for both good and bad.

5.      A good friend.

Lord Krishna's humility toward his childhood buddy Sudama provided evidence for the idea of the perfect friend. The highest level of spiritual unity is attained through sharing in others' happiness and suffering.

6.      A brilliant student.

A perfect teacher has always had a perfect student at some point in their lives. The one who both lived and taught what he preached was Lord Krishna.
